Raptors outlast Falcons for 2-1 conference win

The Ridge View Raptor baseball team outlasted the OABCIG Falcons 2-1 to pick up a conference win

The Raptors used two early runs in the game two hang on to win 2-1 over the Falcons. The runs for the Raptors came in the top of the second inning, which saw Blake Myrtue walk and Kinnick Jensen knock a base hit. After a groundout from Gavin Stehr, Owen Worthan would get the Raptors on the board with an RBI groundout then a wild pitch would score the second run. Both teams would have solid chances but would not be able to cash in, the Raptors had two on in the sixth, the Falcons had the bases loaded in the sixth and two on in the fourth. The Falcons would find the scoreboard in the seventh when the Raptors had a ball drop on the infield and Jaxx DeJean would score.

The win improves the Raptors to 3-2, and the loss drops the Falcons to 2-5.
