The OABCIG Falcons fell to the Woodbury Central Wildcats 10-2

The Wildcats would strike first in the game in the bottom of the first for four runs. The Falcons would have multiple errors in the inning that would aid the Wildcats’ start. A Max McGill RBI triple would cap off the first inning. The Falcons would have an immediate response in the top of the second. The Falcons would capitalize on an error and two hit batters. Myles Beck would collect an RBI single, cutting the Wildcat lead to 4-2. The Wildcats would add two more in the third inning highlighted by a Drew Kluender RBI groundout, that would give the Wildcats the 6-2 lead after three. The Wildcats would see RBIs from Max McGill (1), and Eric McGill (2) as the Wildcats went on to win 10-2. The Wildcats saw their starter go the distance with Kyan Schultzen going 7 innings, with 14 strikeouts, 1 walk, 2 hits, and 2 runs allowed.

The Wildcats improve to 2-1, and the Falcons fall to 2-2. UP NEXT: The Wildcats are at Kuemper on Friday, and the Falcons will take on Akron-Westfield in weekend tournament play
