Storm Lake soccer teams shut-out on the road by Western Christian

The Storm Lake Tornado Soccer teams were both shut-out by the Western Christian Wolfpack as the girls fell 5-0, and 3A #13 Storm Lake boys fell 3-0 to 1A #4 Western Christian

The Tornado girls fell to the Wolfpack 5-0. The Wolfpack and the Tornadoes would go toe-to-toe as both defenses would keep the game scoreless. The Wolfpack would find the back of the net at 22:49 in the first half. The Wolfpack would go to the half up 1-0. The Wolfpack and Tornadoes would go scoreless in the second half for the first 13 minutes. The Wolfpack would tally three goal over the next six minutes when Apiyo Harberts collected a hat-trick to give the Wolfpack a 4-0 lead with 21:27 to go. The Wolfpack would add one more goal with 6:18 to go when Shyanne Van Wyk as the Wolfpack went on to win 5-0. The Tornadoes now fall to 1-10, the Wolfpack would improve to 6-4. Up next the Tornadoes play host to Spirit Lake on Thursday.

The boys game saw the Wolfpack jump out to an early lead and hold on to win 3-0. The Wolfpack wouls strike just 57 seconds into the match to get up 1-0. Later on the Wolfpack got two goals within a 20 second span to take a 3-0 lead. The Tornado defense would close down the half on the defensive side to trail 3-0 at the half. The teams would both have solid chances to score but neither would connect. The Wolfpack would go on to win 3-0. The 3A #13 Tornaodes would fall to 4-5, the 1A #4 Wolfpack improve to 8-1. Up next the Tornadoes travel to Spirit Lake on Thursday night
