Storm Lake was part of a 3A state qualifying track meet on Thursday in Atlantic.
MacKenzie Harder automatically qualified for state with 1st place finishes in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Harder also qualified in the long jump, setting a school record with a jump of 18 feet 7 inches.
Melanie Chanthapanga qualified in the high jump.
The Storm Lake girls finished 5th with 73 points. The Storm Lake boys were 8th with 21 points.
