Graettinger Terril-Ruthven Ayrshire defeated Storm Lake St. Mary 59-16 Thursday in a 1A girls basketball region 1st round game in Graettinger.
The Panthers only lead was 3-2. GT-RA used an 18-0 run in the 1st half to go up 34-12 at halftime, and got the continuous clock going with 3:41 to go in the 3rd.
Neely Bacon had 10 points for St. Mary’s, and Isabelle Landgraf scored their other six points on six free throws. Addison Hanson scored 19 for the Titans, and Madisen Fay added 16.

GT-RA’s 3rd win over their Twin Lakes rival this season puts them at 8-14. The Titans visit another conference foe in West Bend Mallard in a region quarterfinal next Tuesday.
