Storm Lake Saint Mary’s boys basketball falls in play-in game at Siouxland Christian

The Storm Lake Saint Mary’s Panthers Boys Basketball team fell in the Class 1A-Substate 2 District 4 Play-in game 55-12 at Siouxland Christian Eagles

The game saw the Eagles open up strong on defense, scoring the first 11 points. The Panthers would crack the scoreboard at 1:04 with a Brendon Petersen three-pointer. The Eagles led 16-3 after one and 40-7 at the half en route to the 55-12 win. The win improves the Eagles to 2-12 and advance to play the Remsen Saint Mary’s Hawks on Monday, the loss ends the Panthers season at 0-22.

Avery Fetrow led the Panthers with 5 points, Jeremiah Lynam led the Eagles with 19 points and Bennett Pfister added 12 points. The Panthers say goodbye to two seniors: Avery Fetrow and Owen Keenan
