The Storm Lake HyNoon Kiwanis Club will once again host the annual ‘Storm the Lake’ Sprint Triathlon/Duathlon on Saturday, August 20 at Kings Pointe Resort.
The event welcomes both individuals as well as ‘teams’ to register. Cost is $50 for an individual and $75 for a relay team.
A half-mile swim in the bay at King’s Pointe gets the race started, followed by a 12-mile bike around the lake back into the transition area at King’s Pointe, before capping the race off with a 5K run along the lake and back to King’s Pointe.
This is a USAT sanctioned event and participants are required to purchase a one-day or annual membership to USAT.
