Jamarius Gibbs-Green ran for 201 yards and three touchdowns leading Fort Dodge to a 49-14 win over Storm Lake Friday night at Tornado Field.
Gibbs-Green scored on touchdown runs of 57, 5, and 85 yards and quarterback Royce Pederson had a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Dodgers who amassed 322 yards of offense. They also turned five Storm Lake turnovers into 28 points.
Carson Lullmann was 23-for-43 through the air for 231 yards with two touchdown passes and three interceptions. Cam Boyd had 12 receptions for 141 yards and a TD. Braeden Hicks also had a TD catch. Fort Dodge sacked Lullmann several times which led to minus 20 yards of rushing for the Tornadoes.
The result of the game leaves both teams 3-3 overall and 1-1 in district play. Storm Lake will play next week at Denison-Schleswig. Click below to hear the post game talk with Tornado coach Drake Curry.
