Every batter had at least one hit and the hard hitting Sioux Central softball team beat Alta-Aurelia 11-1 in six innings Wednesday night in a class 2A regional quarter-final game played in Peterson.
Kendra Casey led a 14 hit attack going 3-for-4 with 3RBI and Berkley Johannsen picked up her 14th win of the year inside the circle and the Rebels now advance to Friday night’s semi-final round.
Johannsen pitched all six innings giving up one run on five hits. She struck out one and walked five.
