Western Iowa Tech Community College has been awarded a 2.2-million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
The grant will be used for a number of purposes, including strengthening retention of Arts and Sciences students, improving transfer pathways to four-year colleges and universities, fostering a culture of equity, and training employees on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Western Iowa Tech Community College’s main campus is in Sioux City, with other campuses in Cherokee, Mapleton, Denison, and LeMars.
