Storm Lake Man Receives Prison Sentence for Multiple Meth Possession Offenses

A Storm Lake man has been sentenced to serve up to five years in prison on a drug-related charge.

30-year-old Damien Fisher previously pleaded guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, 3rd or Subsequent Offense, a class D felony. He will serve the prison term with the Iowa Department of Corrections.

Fisher was arrested by the Storm Lake Police Department on November 20th of last year. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest through Franklin County for Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Fisher was taken into custody on the warrant without incident. Upon searching Fisher, police allegedly located a small amount of suspected methamphetamine. He was additionally charged with 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine.
