Storm Lake residents in the Lochedem and Highview Drive area should expect a planned water outage Tuesday as crews continue work on the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center expansion project.
City officials say the first of two scheduled shutoffs needed for utility connections will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 16. The outage is expected to last about four hours.
A boil advisory will be issued for affected properties once service is restored. Impacted addresses include:
- 1519 and 1601 Lochedem Drive
- 804, 805, 808, 811, 812, 815, 817 and 818 Highview Drive
The city anticipates lifting the boil advisory by late afternoon on Thursday, June 18.
