Storm Lake Outlines Summer Street Work Across Multiple Areas

Storm Lake is preparing for several street improvement projects this summer, with work planned in multiple neighborhoods as part of the City’s ongoing effort to upgrade roadway conditions.

City officials say the projects will involve milling off worn pavement and replacing it with new surfacing to extend the life and quality of the affected streets. Work is scheduled in three areas:

  • West Sixth Street/Grand/College/Otsego area
  • West NinthStreet/Ontario area
  • Colonial Circle/Larchwood/Hyland

Maps provided by the city highlight the impacted streets in red. Specific construction and closure dates will be released once the contractor finalizes the schedule.
