Storm Lake Police responded to a large fight early Sunday morning at De Noches nightclub on Erie Street. Officers arrived around 1:10 a.m. to reports of multiple individuals involved in a physical altercation, with bottles reportedly being thrown.
Two men—35-year-old Christopher Boatman and 54-year-old Leonardo Marte Duran, both of Storm Lake—were taken into custody at the scene. They were each charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication and booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $600 bond.
Following a review of surveillance footage, police identified four additional suspects allegedly involved in the fight and bottle-throwing.
On Tuesday, 22-year-old Elisely Regalado Perez, 24-year-old Maria Regalado Perez, 25-year-old Jualmiris Regalado Perez, and 28-year-old Jualmi Regalado Perez—all Storm Lake residents—were arrested and charged with rioting, assault while participating in a felony, and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. Each was held on $12,000 bond.
Yesterday, police charged a sixth individual—32-year-old Valerie Gonzalez of Spencer—with rioting and felony assault. Gonzalez surrendered to authorities and was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on $10,000 bond.
