On Sunday (July 10), the Storm Lake Police Department arrested a subject identified as Devin Xayyavong, age 22 of Storm Lake, on two charges of Controlled Substance Violation, a Class of D Felony.
The charges stemmed from an investigation by Storm Lake Police in the spring of 2024 where Xayyavong was alleged to have sold a quantity of marijuana to another on two separate occasions at a location in Storm Lake.
Xayyavong was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.
