Nebraska Juvenile Referred for King’s Pointe Theft

On Tuesday (July 15), at approximately 4:40 p.m., the Storm Lake Police Department was called to King’s Pointe Waterpark, 1520 East Lakeshore Drive in Storm Lake for a report of multiple thefts of property from patrons at the waterpark. After arrival on scene police began an investigation and allege that a juvenile female suspect had stolen several personal items from patrons of the waterpark with a combined value of approximately $3,500. With the assistance of King’s Pointe staff police located the suspect on scene, who was identified as a 14-year-old female from Nebraska. The juvenile female was ultimately issued a juvenile referral for Theft in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony and transported to the Cherokee Youth Emergency Shelter Center for placement.

All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.
