Storm Lake police say a Schaller man was arrested Wednesday evening after a reported theft at Awaysis Park.
Officers were called to the park in the 1400 block of East Lakeshore Dr. around 6:41 p.m. on July 29. Police say the victim reported being confronted by 33‑year‑old Dakota James Boger, who allegedly threatened them and forcibly pulled a necklace from their neck. No injuries were reported.
Boger was located in the area and taken into custody without incident. Police say he was found in possession of the stolen necklace.
He’s charged with second‑degree robbery, a Class C felony, and was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
