A Storm Lake man was recently sentenced in Buena Vista County District Court to serve up to five years in prison due to several instances of operating under the influence.
24-year-old Jonathan Andrade previously pleaded guilty to 3rd or Subsequent Offense Operating While Intoxicated, which is a class D felony.
Andrade received his 4th OWI charge on July 16th of last year when he was pulled over by Storm Lake Police late that night for an equipment violation in the 500 block of East 7th Street in Storm Lake. He reportedly showed signs of alcohol impairment, and was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail for additional testing. Along with a 4th charge of OWI, Andrade was also charged with Driving While Barred.
