The OA-BCIG boys basketball team improved to 6-0 with their 82-61 victory over Ridge View in Holstein Friday night.
The Falcons never trailed, and an 11-0 run late in the 2nd quarter helped them to a 42-25 lead at halftime. The Raptors got no closer than 15 in the 2nd half.
11 OA-BCIG players put points on the board. Beckett DeJean and Kane Ladwig each had 20 points, and Anthony Newquist 11 added 11 for the Falcons. Tracin Price had 17 for the Raptors, as they are now 2-4 on the season.
The Ridge View girls were never behind in their 57-35 win over OA-BCIG.
The Raptors took a 28-10 lead at halftime, and the Falcons only got within 14 the rest of the way. Madison Stowater had 21 points for Ridge View, and Shae Dutler had 14. Alex Schroeder scored 14 for OA-BCIG.
Ridge View is now 2-3, dropping OA-BCIG to 1-5. Postgame comments from Raptors coach Brian Bode can be heard below.
The Ridge View teams host Manson Northwest Webster this coming Monday, December 19th. They close out the 2022 portion of the schedule this coming Thursday at home against Newell Fonda, and those will be broadcast on Mix 101.7FM, and video streamed on our website.
The OA-BCIG close out the 2022 part of the schedule this coming Tuesday at Cherokee.
