The new northwest Iowa field agronomist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has been on the job for the last couple of weeks.
Leah Ten Napel is a LeMars native, and most recently was an agronomist with Central Valley Ag Coop in Hinton. She started her new position with ISU Extension on September 12th, taking over for the retired Joel DeJong. Ten Napel will help advise farmers in nine area counties.
Ten Napel graduated from Iowa State in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in agronomy and seed science.
