Most area lakes are completely open.
According to a DNR report released late Thursday afternoon, most of Storm Lake has opened up, and the marina consists of open water. There is still ice in front of the Bel Air boat ramp, and there is a sheet of ice near Casino point that is blocking access from the marina to the main lake.
Black Hawk Lake is ice free.
