Humboldt Man Sentenced to Prison in Sac County District Court for Sexually Abusing a Minor Several Years Ago

A Humboldt man was sentenced Monday in Sac County District Court to serve time in prison for sexually abusing a minor nearly a decade ago.

According to the Sac County Attorney’s Office, Robert Schultz Jr will serve ten years in prison after he was found guilty of sexually abusing a 12-year-old in Auburn back in 2014.

Law enforcement first got word of the alleged incident in 2017. In 2012, Schultz was convicted of lascivious acts with a ten-year-old girl.

In addition to the prison term, Schultz is on the sex offender registry for the rest of his life. The case was investigated by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office.
