Early voting is getting started today (Wed) in Iowa for the general election.
Iowans may vote in-person at their county auditor’s office, or the election office in their county. Today is also the first day that county auditors can mail an absentee ballot to a voter who requested one. County auditors must receive that ballot by 8pm on November 8th for it to be counted. Iowans can track their absentee ballot at www.voterready.Iowa.gov.
This coming Monday, October 24th is the last day Iowans can ask their county auditor to mail them an absentee ballot.
