According to Triple A Iowa, the average price in Iowa for a gallon of unleaded is $3.21, which is down about 14 cents in the last week, and down 31 cents in the last month. A year ago, the average price for a gallon of unleaded in Iowa was $3.13.
The average price for a gallon of gas in Buena Vista county is currently $3.07.
A gallon of diesel in Iowa is currently averaging $4.85, which is down around ten cents in the last week, and down approximately 33 cents in the last month. A year ago at this time, diesel in Iowa was averaging $3.41 a gallon.
