Dickens Man Charged in No-Contact Order Violations

A Dickens man is facing multiple charges following a domestic-related investigation in Clay County.

On Saturday, Sept. 6, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Jon Jones of Dickens after learning he had made threatening phone calls and sent text messages to his wife, Amber Jones—despite a valid no-contact order in place.

Jones was taken into custody around 2:10 p.m. and transported to the Clay County Jail.

He faces nine counts of violating a no-contact or protection order, along with four counts of first-degree harassment. Bond was set at $15,000 cash only.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
