Albert City Threshermen Event Founder Honored with Award from BVU

Albert City Threshermen event founder Karl Lind has been selected as the recipient of the Buena Vista University’s Institute of Agriculture 2023 Friend of Agriculture Award.

The award recognizes individuals outside of the agricultural industry in the surrounding community that have made an impact in agriculture. A news release from BVU states that Lind’s preservation and demonstrations of agricultural equipment have been instrumental in maintaining northwest Iowa’s agricultural machinery history. The Albert City Threshermen and Collector’s Show has been going on for over 50 years.
