The City of Storm Lake has started its search for citizens to host RAGBRAI riders for the first overnight stop of this year’s bike ride.

Once hosts are established in the coming weeks, Storm Lake will begin taking housing requests from riders on June 1st. Applications will close on June 30th. Housing requests will cost five-dollars per rider, and will be completed on a first-come-first-serve and best-match basis. Hosts will be provided a full list of names and contact information ahead of the overnight stay.
Storm Lake will be hosting RAGBRAI riders on Sunday, July 23rd. The local RAGBRAI theme is “Have a Nice Ride.”
