The annual Buena Vista County Conservation “Egg Hunt in The Park” will be held this coming weekend.
The event will begin at 2pm on Saturday, April 1st at the South Shelter area at the BV County Conservation Park in Peterson. The event will begin with a program in which BV Conservation staff will teach participants about animals that lay eggs, and will also show off some educational animals. The egg hunt will follow the program.
Participants can bring their own basket or sack to collect their eggs, which contain candy and other prizes. The program is open to all ages, but the egg hunt is limited to children under the age of 12.
The program is free of charge, but reservations are required. RSVP by contacting the BV Conservation Office by 4pm this Thursday, March 30th at 712-295-7985.
