Woman Allegedly Rammed Vehicle into Another Vehicle During Altercation in Clay County

A Dickens woman is accused of ramming her vehicle into another vehicle during an altercation Tuesday.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a residence in Dickens early Tuesday afternoon after getting a report of a disturbance. Upon arriving, deputies determined 38-year-old Jessie Lynn Vaquero-Mendez had intentionally rammed her 2012 Ford Edge into a parked Chevrolet Tahoe.

Vaquero-Mendez was located a short time later at her home in Dickens and was taken into custody. She was charged with 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief, a class D felony. Vaquero-Mendez was released after posting bond.
