An injury was reported in a single-vehicle accident in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at 1:20pm this past Friday. 57-year-old Inga Hoffman of Milford was driving southbound in the 32-hundred mile of 340th Avenue when she went off the roadway while negotiating a curve, and ended up losing traction in the snow/slush mix. The vehicle left the roadway and entered a yard.
Hoffman’s vehicle endured an estimated 15-thousand dollars in damage, and is considered a total loss. A female passenger sustained a suspected back injury during the accident, and was transported to the Spencer Hospital by Palo Alto County Ambulance Services.
