The Storm Lake Police Department, Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office, and LifeServe Blood Center will be putting on the 4th annual local Blue Blood Drive today (Mon) from 11:30am to 4:30pm at King’s Pointe Resort in Storm Lake.
The event coincides with National Law Enforcement Day. Walk ins are welcome. Every donor will receive a limited edition Blue Blood coffee tumbler.
The LifeServe Blood Center supplies blood to over 130 hospitals in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, which includes the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
The Storm Lake Blue Blood Drive has been the most successful mobile Blue Blood Drive for the past three years, and it’s always held during the week of National Law Enforcement Day.
