A donation of 40 dollars typically covers expenses to pay for one full box of food, which can feed 216 people for one meal.
This is the 13th year that St. Mary’s has conducted a food packing event. The school partners with the “Then Feed Just One” organization out of LeMars for the project. Over 834 thousand meals have been packed since St. Mary’s started the effort.
