Storm Lake School District Again Taking Part in Summer Food Service Program

The Storm Lake Community School District is once again offering free meals to kids this summer as part of the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program.

Breakfast will be served at the Storm Lake Middle School on Mondays through Thursdays, June 5th through the 29th, from 8 to 8:30am…and lunch will be served during those days from 11am to 12:30pm.

Meals will also be served at the Storm Lake High School. On Mondays through Fridays, June 5th through the 30th, lunch will be served from 11am to 12:45pm…and a snack will be offered from 1:30 to 1:45 those afternoons. On Mondays through Thursdays, July 5th through August 11th, lunch will be served from 11am to 12:45pm…and a snack will be offered from 1:15 to 1:30 those afternoons. Lunch will also be served at the high school from 11am to 12:45pm on Friday, July 14th…and a snack will be served that day from 1:15 to 1:30pm.

Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis free of charge to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
