This morning (Wed) at 4am, the Storm Lake Police Department responded to an incident at a residence in the 700 Block of Michigan Street for a domestic disturbance.
Upon investigating, police allege that a male subject, Gregory Lucht, age 26, of Storm Lake was involved in an argument with a female. It was determined that on two occasions during the argument, Lucht grabbed the female victim by the neck and knock her to the ground causing a laceration to the victim’s head. The victim was transported to the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment of bodily injuries.
Lucht was taken into custody being charged with Willfull injury causing bodily injury (Class D Felony); Domestic abuse assault impeding air flow (Aggravated Misdemeanor); Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury 1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor); and Public Toxication (Simple Misdemeanor).
Lucht was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail where he was booked and held without bond.
