A Storm Lake man is facing charges after allegedly threatening police during a traffic stop last month.
On Saturday afternoon, the Storm Lake Police Department located 28-year-old Juan Garcia Ortiz in the 700 block of Seneca Street. Garcia Ortiz was wanted on a Buena Vista County warrant for first degree harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor.
The charge stems from an Oct. 25 incident, when police say Garcia Ortiz approached an officer during a traffic stop and made threats against Storm Lake officers.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
