Volunteer fire fighters must be at least 18 years old. Applications are available at the fire station Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Call Storm Lake Public Safety at 732-8010 with any questions.
A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for the Storm Lake area tomorrow (Wed) from noon to 7pm due to high wind activity and low relative humidity in the forecast. Any fires that develop tomorrow will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
