Storm Lake City Council Narrowly Passes Contract for Retail Market Analysis/Recruitment Services

The Storm Lake City Council Monday on a 3-2 vote approved a contract with The Retail Coach to assist in economic development and community growth efforts.

The Retail Coach provides services that include conducting mobile data surveys to analyze consumer demographics and trade areas while utilizing reports and data that drive retail site selection. The Retail Coach also connects with national, regional, and local retailers that align with community needs while supporting commercial development by providing developers with detailed site profiles and valuable insights from retail prospects.

The Retail Coach contract for this year is 20 thousand dollars, plus 25 hundred in reimbursable travel expenses.
