The Storm Lake City Council this week approved an update to the city’s strategic plan.
The council met last month at King’s Pointe Resort and identified specific goals and objectives for 2024. The top goals as determined by the council include Day Care, including ongoing work with a current Child Care Task Force and establishing a community foundation for potential fundraising…Housing, including a potential housing development task force…Recreation Center, including consideration of a potential feasibility study and establishing community partnerships…Storm Lake United, including a business plan moving forward…and moving forward with development of the former dredge spoil site.
