Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City’s two-mile Fun Run event will take place on Saturday, June 24th.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Lake City Betterment Association’s annual Western Days weekend. The Fun Run on June 24th begins at 8:30am, with the start and finish lines on the west side of the Lake City town square. Fun Run awards will be given to the overall male and female winners, pre-registered youngest, pre-registered oldest, and the top two men and top two women in each several age classes.
Registration for the Fun Run is now completely online at www.getmeregistered.com/smch2mile. Cost is 15-dollars for participants who preregister by the end of May, and 20-dollars for participants who register between June 1st and the day of the event. A t-shirt will be included in all registrations.
Kids ages nine and under are invited to join the free Kid’s Dash starting at 8:15 the morning of the Fun Run.
