A Wall Lake man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges late last week.
According to the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officials served a search warrant this past Friday around 4pm at the residence at 308 West 1st Street in Wall Lake. The warrant was for controlled substance violations. During the search, authorities located marijuana, marijuana vapes, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
20-year-old John “Daston” Lawler was found alone in his home at the time of the search. He was arrested and transported to the Sac County Jail. Lawler was charged with Interference With Official Acts, Tampering With Records, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Lawler was released from jail after he posted a 36-hundred dollar bond, and was given a court date. The Sac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lake View and Sac City Police Departments.
