Northwest Iowa residents are advised to pay close attention to the upcoming forecast.
According to the Storm Prediction Center, all of northwest Iowa is at risk for severe weather tomorrow (Tues). The main hazards would be large hail and damaging wind, but tornadoes are also possible. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain could arrive tomorrow in the Storm Lake area. Over two-and-a-half inches of rain was measured outside the radio stations from late last week through the weekend.
There are rain possibilities for most of the remainder of the week as well. Flash flooding could occur in some areas.
