The second of three legislative forum events in Storm Lake for this legislative session will be held this coming weekend.
The event will be held Saturday, March 15th at 10am at King’s Pointe Resort. This will allow the public to communicate directly with local state lawmakers on current issues. State Representative Megan Jones and State Senator Lynn Evans typically attend the forums. The events are open to the public, and free of charge.
The final forum in the series will be held April 12th at 10am.
The forums are co-sponsored by the City of Storm Lake and SALUD multicultural health coalition. The events are moderated by Storm Lake High School I-JAG students.
