An Odebolt resident has announced her candidacy for the Iowa House in the upcoming primary election.
Wendy Larson is seeking to represent Iowa House District 7 which includes Calhoun, Pocahontas, and Sac counties, as well as western Webster County.
A news release states that Larson, who is a conservative, would serve the district by tackling improper use of eminent domain, anti-second amendment laws, mandates that transgress medical freedoms, illegal immigration, and indoctrination of children in public schools. Larson has close family-farm ties, which she believes will help her be an effective voice for farmers. Larson believes that to thrive, families need a strong economy driven by fiscally responsible legislators.
The Iowa Primary Election will happen on Tuesday, June 4th.
