A public hearing on the 2025-2026 Storm Lake school calendar is set for March 19th.
The school board also approved a contract with a company out of Marshalltown to add lighting on the backs and stop arms of all district buses.
District COO Jeff Tollefson previously said he didn’t feel the buses had proper lighting when kids are dropped off at night. The purchase is for nearly 48 thousand 799 dollars.
