A man who was found dead last week in Spencer has been identified.
According to the Spencer Police Department, the victim is identified as 29-year-old Joshua Martin of Marathon.
Martin was determined to be deceased after authorities were called to 217 West 5th Street in Spencer shortly before noon on Monday, February 20th regarding an unresponsive individual discovered outside of the residence. The Spencer Police Department, as well as the Spencer Ambulance, responded to the scene.
The cause of death still hasn’t been determined, as autopsy results remain pending at the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office.
