The 12th annual Family Fest event will be held this coming Saturday, March 4th from 9am to 2pm at the Clay County Events Center in Spencer.
The event is being hosted by the Events Center and the Positively Spencer Youth group. Family Fest is free and open to the public. Activities for all ages will be offered. Attendees can also learn what local businesses, groups, and organizations can do for families.
A new event this year is the Family Fest Ag Zone, which will provide educational hands-on activities for attendees to learn about ag safety. The KidZone will features several activities, including a bounce house. The H.E.A.T. Tactical Vehicle will be on hand, there will be a “glow germ” hand washing activity, and the Clay County Extension Office will provide activities such as bunny hopping and a petting zoo.
