A two-vehicle accident in Clay County resulted in one arrest
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 4:10pm Monday southeast of Fostoria at the 26 hundred mile of 300th Street. An eastbound 2010 GMC Sierra driven by 41-year-old Jimenez Martin of Saint James, Minnesota drifted far into the westbound lane, and collided head-on with a Ford F-250 driven by 57-year-old Rodney Nothwehr of Storm Lake.
Both vehicles are considered a total loss. No injuries were reported. Martin was arrested and booked into the Clay County Jail on charges of 2nd Offense OWI and Driving Without a Valid Drivers License.
