A few local long-term care facilities were among 38 that were honored last week at a national awards ceremony for their commitment to quality care.
34 Iowa facilities received Bronze Commitment to Quality Awards at the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living Quality Summit in Atlanta on April 7th. Recipients included Accura Healthcare locations in Aurelia, Cherokee, and Pomeroy…Black Hawk Life Care in Lake View…and the Good Samaritan Society of Holstein.
Iowa ranked 4th in the nation for bronze-level winners.
The program honors long-term and post-acute care providers who demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of residents and patients.
