H.E.A.T Tactical Team Assists in Arrest of West Okoboji Man Wanted on O’Brien County Warrants

A West Okoboji man wanted on O’Brien County warrants for harassment was taken into custody Thursday.

Milford police say they were notified shortly before 11:30am Thursday that 26-year-old Keaton Leach was wanted on the warrants, and that he had a tendency to be violent toward law enforcement officers, and was likely armed. The H.E.A.T., High-risk Entry Arrest Team, was then activated. Officers eventually made contact with Leach, and he was taken into custody without incident.

Leach was booked into the Dickinson County jail on a new charge of violation of a no-contact order along with active arrest warrants from O’Brien County.
