A Storm Lake man was arrested on drug charges after police were called to a domestic dispute.
According to the Storm Lake Police Department, at approximately 7:40 last (Wed) evening, officers were called to one of the apartments at 1800 East Milwaukee Avenue for a domestic disturbance. While investigating the incident, officers detected an odor of marijuana present in the apartment. Officers obtained a search warrant, and following a search, a small amount of methamphetamine and various forms of drug paraphernalia in a bedroom within the apartment were located.
34-year-old Trevor Namanny was charged with 3rd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class D felony…and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Namanny was booked in the Buena Vista County Jail on a 53 hundred dollar bond.
